So based on this argument, relationships are the result of two valuable people pursuing each other. It cannot be two people who, regardless of absolute value, want to be together. An argument can be made that perceived value might not be actual value. So I definitely think his logic is flawed here. It’s based on a fallacy & an obsession with value. There are plenty of worthless people who are married/relationship.
