Edit: there are rumors that she will be on PBE before the month is over. This slightly favors 13.18, as 13.17 drops on the 30th (on PBE 30th/31st). This is inferred from riotmeddler’s comment on Reddit from July 28th saying that she will be on PBE between the dev update (2 weeks ago) and the next dev update (in 2-4 weeks).

also for prowlers+ing. hunter duskblade nerf means you can start opting into eclipse or goredrinker especially on talon (in a soloq environment the duskblade cooldown matters far more than in comp)

cosmic+ing hunter is insane item haste, so u can theoretically get like 3-4 prowler+eclipse procs per teamfight
u need inspiration because 0/12/0 demat lets w kill backline way earlier

can also go bruiser (conq+tob/ing.) with goredrinker prowlers because ironspike lets u skip demat (w+whip nukes backwave) and u can lategame pivot into cleaver on 3 and sterak’s cage on 4 with 1250 bHP

I really love watching Phreak’s rundown and your rundown. It’s crazy how identical some of your takes are. It shows that the balance team is doing something and the changes they make matter. Phreak says it’s low elo skewed and you say it’s useless. Phreak said we’re targeting rengar and qiyana with prowlers buff and it’s the first champs you think of.

And then there’s Trist.

Phreak’s idea was make her easier to poked by mages, meanwhile her most common competitive match ups (jayce and azir) are now weaker into her. You’re right. It’s literally a buff. Pro focus nerfs need to ACTUALLY FOCUS PRO. I feel like Riot does a bad job because they have a combined view of pro and high mmr solo queue. I’m sure if you asked any of them they would tell you they’re different, but the solutions they come up with pro balancing outside of nerf to oblivion or nerf irelia is just what they would do for high level mmr. Why this sometimes works is that early game is more important in both pro and high elo so if that is the problem it just so happens to work. Outside of that it’s just grab the nerf bat and bonk away

Shyvana gets buffed one time in years, then nerfed what, 3 times in a row? Just give her a rework Riot, the only Half-Dragon which is why I mained her for years until she became useless 6+ years ago. She finally had an AD option, and it got gutted again. Back to AP shyv... I miss season 2 ad /tank top shyvana, or the fastest clear jungler in the game.

One thing I will say is that one of wukong top’s issues is that he doesn’t win trades without use of his W, and excessive use of his W is very mana heavy and unsustainable. With the reduced mana cost of q and w, he could technically trade with W twice as much. And wukong W trades with most champs in top is winning.

I'm just happy they increased the Duskblade cooldown. Because now everyone will run Ingenious Hunter. Shaco or Qyiana proccing it twice in 5s would be just too much. Apparently it's time to play malphite again.

Naafiri can also go ingenious with eclipse prowlers setup. Eclipse is already good on her because she just instaproccs it whenever its up and she can already get multiple proccs off in extended fights.
