We need a striker, so if we can get DCL on the cheap thats fine, although the fans aren't going to be thrilled. Actually spoke to a Dutch Feyenoord fan last night in a pub about Minteh . His opinion : exciting but loses the ball a lot, ok for the Eredivisie but not EPL quality, at least not yet.

I don't see the logic in selling Minteh before seeing what he can do in a Newcastle shirt. His value could easily double in a year's time if he turns out to be a future superstar, especially playing on the right, which is badly needed right now. It just strikes me as not good business.
