Hi Armand. Thank you so much for your videos! I was all new to federal gov jobs and never had any luck with them. I used your advice to write a resume based on opm job description and watched your channel relogiously for the past couple of months. This week, I got an offer for GS12 in DoD.

Hi Armand! This was a necessary video for me and other to hear! Thank you for the courage to say what you did. We have so much at our disposal but folks want to whine and not be strategic in their approaches. I am not yet hired but I am not discouraged due to hearing substantive info from folks like you. Thanks again!

I’m satisfied. Hired within 4 months and I just received my 12 month certification. No issues with the site. Most hiring problems are agency related, not the actual website.

Hi Armand, I am wondering how do you get your foot in the door for any of the VA jobs. All of the lower level jobs are always internal jobs

trying to find another appsw and its kind of brutal, a lot of the jobs list specific technologies that my current job doesnt use.

i looked at that detail website too and theres not much on there -_-

not sure if id qualify for other types of jobs in the 2210 series. most of them are again not too relevant to the job i got now lol

kind of makes me wonder if the only way to get promoted in that series is leave the gov and come back later

I get what you’re saying but this website is glitchy as hell and won’t accept phone numbers it just doesn’t seem to want to work unless I force a workaround. I tried adding my supervisors contact Info and it kept saying no to every possible formatted phone number. It seems like a website glitch that shouldn’t happen

There’s an NF-04 position I’m applying for. The salary range is 60-68k but that seems kind of low for a masters degree position overseas. I’m wondering if it’s possible to negotiate for more pay than the listed range? There is LQA and that might be why the salary is so low.

I am in the process of applying for my next job now. I put in an application before the 4th of July weekend. still haven't heard any updates yet for it. and I do currently live in a small town I moved to 1 year ago. I do plan to move again in the future, but the goal to move to my next base i'm aiming for 2025-2026 time frame. so at this time i'm kind of stuck in a small town with not many opportunities. and I haven't saved up enough for my next move yet.

To expand off a question I asked you last week- I’m going to apply to agency with. 3 yr internship- it’s a 9/11/12 position for 1102.
Will they be interested in hiring me if I’ve already been a gs9/1102 for 6 months or more by the time they get around to interview/job offer?
I Would technically be eligible for promotion months after they hired me.
Maybe they make me restart 1 year time as gs9 or spend a year and a half as a 12 on internship?
Thanks Armand
