Luxor, Egypt is known as the “world’s greatest open-air museum,” and for good reason. As the original site of the ancient city of Thebes, Luxor has been continuously inhabited for over 5000 years and much of that history is still remarkably well-preserved. See it by walking its streets, from the back of a horse-drawn buggy, or from above on a hot air balloon: just make sure you see it.

Have stayed in Luxor a couple of times and it's a real open air museum. Stayed at the Winter Palace which made it even more a step back in time. Sailing in a hot air balloon above the temple complexes was fabulous. Thank you for sharing this video and bringing back some holiday memories.
