This song will never not remind me of my first winter in Colorado living with my dad in 2017. My mom just passed away, and I was in a horrible depression as my long term relationship of six years ended around then too. This song gives me a sense of connection to the house we lived in, the cold winter here at 9, 000ft, raising our baby chickens inside until spring, and so much more. We did it all together. Now he has passed, but I still have this song to remember all the good times of when I first moved here; especially when there's more sorrow than not sometimes here in these high mountains without him. RIP dad and mom.

When I first discovered this song I was going through a rough period of my life. I hated my job I was alone and I was depressed. When I first heard this song in January 2017 it was such an anxiety killer. I now come back to this song to reflect. To remember where I was and where I am now and to imagine myself in that hotel. Whatever you are going through in life just remember that you will get through it just find what makes you calm and take time out of your schedule for yourself to keep sane.

Does anyone get incredible nostalgia just looking at the album picture? The snow and it's lighting take me away to the past and at times I remember a day, it was freshman year 2nd semester fresh out of wintet break it was January. Our school sits on a hill to the west is plains and to the west the manzano mountains. The pick up area is down the hill to the east. That day school was especially rough, but as I walked down the hill I looked at the mountains in the bluish late afternoon light of January, the mountains were blanketed in fresh snow. They were blue, black, white beautiful and as I closed my eyes, I was there on the mountaintop among the snowy forest. It lasted only a 100th of a second but that mental picture is engraved in my mind. Two years later I climbed that mountain to the spot in which I looked at the mountain from the high school. As I looked back to where I once stood as a freshman looking upon the mountain and it was incredibly nostalgic, all the moments from my freshmen flashback was there, the chill in the air, the bluish light of late day the grey overcast sky and the smell of pine and earth. And every so often I stop triggered by something and I remember that day as a freshman and i think of myself standing looking at the mountain. Does anyone get similar experiences?
