At today's House Armed Services Committee hearing, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) slammed a Democratic bill he said will increase wokeness in the military.

The military is embracing wokeness which is basically an endorsement of a political “religion” under the guise of promoting “equality.” Wokeness puts people in categories based on external factors (race, gender, sexuality) versus universal unifying values (the defense of individual liberties such as freedom of speech and the freedom to be a conservative who believes in two genders and that traditional families should be encouraged and supported, not dismantled by indoctrinating kids.
