It really varies a lot. Some shorts get $0.05/per 1000, other shorts I’ve hit $0.24. The second one made more money and got less views. I think it has to do with niche/audience’s country

The rpm might be going up but the real money in the the affiliate program being able to tag products in the shorts. Im seeing pretty good success converting sales and the money is well worth it.

I live in canada, so it's a bit higher, but I'm averaging $0.20, all the way up to $0.40 on some videos. ($0.15-$0.30 usd)

Shorts lend themselves well to what we like to do. Opening packs of cards is suspensful and fun in small doses. Trying to do longer form content is proving to be more difficult.
