What is the process if it is exempt and does it help in supporting PR and getting 50 points? I do not need a work permit but just PR support.

My question is my employer had applied for lmia in bc province and esdc has deducted the fee on 28.09.23.it is high wsge stream.coulx you tell how longbdoes it take to issue lmia after deducting the fee by esdc.

Hello, on behalf of my nephew, his PGWP is expiring in May, he has a permanent high wage job Teer 1, NOC 41400, for almost a year now, with a big company in Ontario, what can he do to maintain his status and keep his job?
He already has an ITA from the OINP International Student job offer stream (score 85), and he is in the process of completing his application documents to submit within the 14-day deadline. But what concerns me is the timeline for the nomination which may not happen before his permit expires! That is why we are looking for any other possible option. If he asks for an LMIA from his employer who will most probably support him, what type should he ask for, Dual intent or position specific Closed work permit? thanks in advance
