Christmas Does Not Appear in Scripture

I do think in America all that its ever been said ( from a British perspective) and it seems you have all said 'happy hollidays' for years and years before anykind of hate speech.

And NOW you cant say Happy Christmas over there like we can in the UK with no problem at all YET, but we never EVER went round saying happy hollidays, it just want said, and isnt now either .
What we are equallly guitly of here in UK though, we turned it into a massive commercial fest and insteas of celebrating the True Gift of Christmas ( which is Jesus born into into this sinful world to die so we may have Eternal Lige life ) is that TRUE GIFT is scarcley regarded at all sadly. We are deffinitly in the last moments of the Last days.

Well Santa Claus was the first symbol used to secularize Christmas. Jesus or baby Jesus was replaced for Santa Claus as the Christmas provider for children.

Christmas in early America was a mixed bag. Many with Puritan beliefs banned Christmas because of its pagan origins and the raucous nature of the celebrations. Other immigrants arriving from Europe continued with the customs of their homelands. The Dutch brought Sinter Klaas with them to New York in the 1600’s. The Germans brought their tree traditions in the 1700’s. Each celebrated their own way within their own communities

I don’t do CHRISTmas for presents(well I mean gifts are always fun to get ) but it’s not abt that. I’m not celebrating Santa, I’m not celebrating some pagan whatever. In shows and movies ppl are like “it’s abt giving, it’s abt being with ppl” it’s not. It’s about the birth of Jesus. And I would say it’s dumb that ppl who don’t believe in God celebrate Christmas. It doesn’t matter what happened on that day however many years ago. And yeah i know he wasn’t born on Christmas. But if let’s say someone killed their friend on December 25th 5 years ago and I continue to do Christmas, im still celebrating a death…not a random person who died 5 years ago, but Someone who died 2000 years ago. So what if we celebrate Jesus’s birth on some random day. It’s abt Jesus. And if Jesus told me I’m “sinning”for celebrating His birth, then move it to the next day.

Christmas is the worst holiday. It’s not about Jesus at all it’s more just a gift giving day. A day where we celebrate each other as if it’s everyone’s birthday. It’s actually became a holiday for the rich.
