The Ridgeblade system seems to be over 11 years old now...but I've never seen one on a roof. Not one.

I'd imagine it probably has something to do with Building Regulations, some clause that prohibits fitting something like this to the top of your roof, which wasn't orginally designed for it.
Having your roof reconstructed to satisfy those Regs is likely to be beyond prohibitively expensive, so any savings you would have recieved would vanish instantly into debt for decades.

I'd also imagine that a bird deciding to build a nest in it would screw it right up 😅

Anyone will not be confident to pay what they are asking. In a forum from 1o year ago, they said it cost 30k euros for the five small kits...
