I bought a 03 a year ago for $3500 limited 4x4 with 200k miles on it. Absolutely love it its had some body work done but nothing major. My first Toyota and plan to keep it even if i get something newer! All around great vehicle!!

I bought an ‘05 sequoia with 200, 000 miles on it fell in love with it, then the timing belt went out and destroyed the motor. Turned around and bought a 2011 Toyota sequoia platinum which has a timing CHAIN ! Got all the bells and whistles, love it even more ! Can’t wait to lift it, put dual exhaust and lift, rims and tires !

Change the starter while your in the timing belt because the starter is under the intake manifold, its not on the side of the motor suprise 🙂 but very smart for Toyota I changed my timing belt for the second time and was waiting for my starter to go out
if I would have known both times I would have changed the starter both times .
#1 rule 90, 000 miles timing belt.
#2 change water pump .
#3 change starter.
#4 change serpentine belt
Sorry I forgot you should also change
the the clutch fan housing, the serpentine belt runs the clutch fan,
Also change your suspension every 2/3 years .
Tie rods inner and outer.
Change lower ball joints
and axles if its all stock
If you modify the suspension
then your on your own .
If you have a lift kit for front end then change your axles every 1 / 2years because the lift makes your boots
Have more of an angle on them and they wear faster .
Unless you have modified your front in for the lift, please let us all know if you modified your lift so the boots don't where out faster on stock front end .

I wouldn’t get rid of it. Its been babied. Engine is built like a rock. Just bought an 04” model and i love it. Replaced the speakers and stereo system with apple carplay/android auto and loving it.

Bought a 07 limited with 200, 000 from a friend of mine 1 owner, impeccable service record. Im loving it. Take off the running boards and it will look mean but hard for kids to get in and out of.

I have a 2001 2wd & a 2002 4WD. I like these models because I think they are the most reliable. The KISS adage applies. Dirt simple 240 hp, 4 speed transmission. The 2001 is my daily driver with 265k. I may do the your lift and tire/wheel selection on the 4WD. Also, I may delete the side step. It’s the same color as yours. It’s going to look cool. These trucks are beast. Own a 2006 with 315k miles on it here in colorado. Just basic maintenance. Looking forward to drive it till it dies.

Looks great! Be sure you keep up on paint protection. Especially on the top and hood. I have the gold version of this and just last year it gave up the ghost on the paint. Ugh. Not going to be an easy fix. Otherwise it has been awesome and making it difficult to justify a new one. For those having issues with the front JBL speakers in the door sounding bad or "blown" as some call it, it's just the cone surrounds deteriorating. They can be repaired easily as long as you didn't ruin them by continuing to use them loudly.

Wow amazing change we have the 06 brand new and we put 84, 400 miles into it and no up grade like your kenwood console. And tires are awesome you did. Now I need to do some update on my 06 sequoia. And no plans of selling it. Wonderful video. Add some front camera and rear camera it will be awesome.

I had the same problem with the flod down screen and the front map lights. All you need is 2 diodes and run a wire from the back dome lights.
