Just heard about Moon Pies and RC Cola on Match Game Syndicate, celebrity star MacLean Stevenson mentioned the custom/habit of buying an RC Cola and a moon pie in his sixth year of elementary school, growing up in se Utah, there were RC Colas but no moon pies, chocolate>marshmallow and yummy cookies, gotta be SCRUMPTIOUS! 😋

You have posted this recipe twice in different places and the amounts for butter and flour are different. The moon pie recipe that was in a story on southern favorites like Martha Washington treats called for 1/2 cup or 1 stick butter vs two sticks here.
Why the change?
Also, 1½ cups (6 oz.) whole wheat pastry flour - is not clear. Would you explain? Thanks!
