RV-8 pitch autopilot servo movement

This short video shows some movement on the autopilot pitch servo that seems to be part of the design, but I'm not sure. I have not found any documentation that talks about this. I'd like to know if others have seen this. The 4 screws holding this part of the AP servo motor are tight. It looks like its rubber mounted.
