Thank you for sharing. I am full Italian but born in California. While half my family in northern Italy, we travel often, and have always met people on travels, had them stay at our home and vice versa. Its a great part of travel. One trip I solo backpacked throughout Europe, eastern Europe and north Africa for months. I was never alone and met the best people. Even when I studied at University of Oxford, I would travel and always end up finding new friends that I still keep in touch with. Fortunately my parents were the same so I grew up with meeting people while on travel to having them stay with us all through my childhood. So I am used to it. Its the best experience, while on travel and even to apply within your own region or city, saying "hello how are you today" can open up to much. Thank you.

Wow!
What a nice story.
So true.
Meeting people and experiencing our precious and limited time here on earth with other people all around the world brings such joy to our life. The good people on earth outnumber the bad 10, 000 to 1. It's a good idea to get out there and meet those amazing good people.

And it's more than travels, it's memories, that are defined by people. Your channel is great. I'm bingeing them all. lol

It’s true that it’s not easy talking to strangers, but sometimes the rewards outweigh the challenge. With my new YouTube channel I’m learning to talk to strangers and it’s interesting to see that strangers are just like yourself, everyday normal people. I think if you remind yourself that they are normal everyday people like yourself it will be easier to break the ice so to speak. Thanks for the video! Sending you hugs 🤗 and best wishes.

I noticed all this in your video when you interviewed on the oak victory ship. It was really good to see that you made a personal connection with Desiree.

We must go with our sixth sense....intuition. Our life experiences will guide you. I would like to believe that 99.99 percent of people are good people!💗

I was just thinking about travel and people to travel versus traveling solo.
I grew up with single guy friends, but married early.
So I was never in a situation to travel with my single friends and the places they would want to go.
Besides that, I always wanted to take my family traveling, just never could afford it.

I spent most of my life on Maui, Hawaii.
So to travel was expensive. Traveling even off island to another island was expensive with airfare, cars, hotels and food.

Fast forward decades and I am 67 living in Virginia and single.
I was thinking about how hard it is to travel. Most of it would be to see kids and grandkids, but almost never traveling to places I want to visit.
I would like to go places but have no male friends that I would travel with and no women that I know would be a good travel partner.

Traveling as a couple is nice in theory, but there is no prospects and it gets complicated to travel unmarried.

Traveling single is a choice, but there is not as much satisfaction when an experience isn't shared with someone else to later talk about as a memory.
