ANALOG HORROR HAS CONSUMED MY LIFE

Unfortunately the title of this video is not a lie, the only piece of media I have consumed these past couple days has been strictly analog horror. I dream in analog horror now.

“The rabbit is starving.” Refers to Susan starving in the banny animatronic. She wasn’t immediately dead from Bon attacking her, she slowly starved.

I am so glad people recognize the Monument Mythos. The first time I saw the title 'rushmorerevenge' I legit thought it was an art history video with an interesting title. The confusion I felt was unimaginable, my all time favorite analog horror honestly.

If you don’t know him already, I’d suggest Wendigoon for analog horror analysis. He goes into REALLY GOOD detail on Monument Mythos especially

Another thing that suggested to me that mimics are capable of being killed is in the most recent episode where the team clears the building. If you inspect the two guys taking guard in the hallway, you can tell that their fingers are abnormally long which IMO means they could be mimics being used as security.

Yes! You watched vita carnis, my favourite! I love seeing people discover more analog horror, it’s my favourite genre of horror

Honestly, I fondly remember watching vita carnis by my own specifically seeing the flavor enchanter video. There was a frame where there's just a single slice of bread on a plate. Not gonna lie but that's one of my favorite parts due to how loud it made me laugh.

I had my YouTube running while I went to sleep last week. And it was on auto play so it played nexpos video on The walten files. So I woke up to the most loud gut wrenching scream and a distorted creepy picture. It wasn’t pleasant 😅

You know I wasn’t expecting to be that scared watching the walten files the first time but rosemary’s screams in that one scene shook me to my core. it just felt way too personal.

I was sitting in the bathroom while I was at work and I literally chucked my phone at the stall door after that Mimic jumpscare.

Greetings, we have seen your video and we do agree that analog horror has been a terrifying concept in which it contains a story that could be real or fake. The disturbing deaths of others or their fate is always has been a type of nightmare people will have. Analog horror became a very popular and amazing genre from the horror. But since there has been issues were analog horror is not becoming less popular that what others thought. But most people are trying their best to bring it back. Really loved the explanation on the three main and amazing series that existed long ago, keep up the good work and always have a wonderful day 👍

Thank you,

Analog horror is absolutely horrifying, It can absolutely pull off jumpscares and just plain disturbing content.
Although I find that analogue horror is not very scary when watched with multiple people, So I feel like for the best experience watch it alone and in the dark with headphones on.

Has the Walten Files creator ever talked about their inspirations/favorite creepypastas? Every time I see that chibi cartoon version of Bon, it reminds me of the Tails Doll from Sonic R, and I'm wondering how intentional that is.

I think it’s important to note that cornerfolk wasn’t always directly tied to monument mythos. It was on the channel alongside it, but they were confirmed to be part of the same universe just recently before conerfolk was added to the season 1 playlist.

Sadly the walten files will probably get one more entry but the creator said they didn't want to make anymore since they've lost the creativity and other issues

The Walten Files was my first introduction to real analog horror, and it creeped me out so much because the animation and edits and storytelling style was like nothing I had ever seen before, my brain was completely unprepared for it, and it was like re-experiencing horror for the first time. Like that horrifying unprecedented territory feeling I felt when I first watched The 6th Sense as a little kid and had never seen a real horror film before. TWF didn't scare me that much when I first watched it (I have a high tolerance to horror) but I couldn't get it out of my head for days afterwards and I had to keep coming back and rewatching it. That's the sign of a really good horror series.
