We can't believe what kind of predator broke into our chicken tractor coop and killed all of our barred rock chickens! These animals are vicious and have no mercy, it's scary that something like this could happen!

We're sharing this video to warn other chicken farmers out there about the dangers of predators and to encourage you to take precautions to protect your chicken tractors and birds. Hopefully, by sharing this video we can help bring this predator to justice and make people aware of the dangers of predators.

Chicken wire only stops chickens. Spend a few extra dollars and get something more substantial.

Awe that’s heart breaking. We’ll just know y’all cared for that flock it the most genuine way a caring family could. Sorry for your loss. 😢

Chicken wire is intended to keep chickens IN, not predators out.

I am in rural north central Montana, and I had the same thing happen to 6 ducks. Both my mom and Great Grandpa said that raccoons are dumb and kill for sport and go into a frenzy, but fox will take one at a time so there’s more to come back to. I’d bet that’s raccoon any day

I learned that lesson the hard way too. Chicken wire keeps chickens in not predators out, sucks to find out that way though 😢

A predator chewed thru chicken wire??? I’ve never seen that in all my years of chicken keeping. The predator DID eat one, I guarantee. It will kill all, drag away one to consume and then return night after night to continue feasting. That I do know.

My family had 7 ginifaul only 5 survived 2 lost. I decided to camp out in my garage with some motion sensors camera pointing at the cage, my uncle's hunting night vision scope, and a break barrel pelt gun. A big raccoon (lil trash panda) came straight for the cage. Safe to say its not coming back no more, or ever.

Wow - maybe a raccoon would have that kind of dexterity but a racoon wouldn't kill a flock of birds for sport I wouldn't think. Looking at the size of the hole says this was a wolf or coyote - a fox is smaller and not as strong as this I think.
