Abandoned Gas Station. Rockford IL

The building is in good condition and doesn’t look to terribly old.It’s crazy when a gas station close suddenly.
Open yesterday closed down today. Weird.... good video 👍

What a neat former gas station. I couldn't go to Las Vegas but on the other hand, I've returned back to Vancouver to film seven abandoned places and one in Oregon. The places in Vancouver were former Subway (Uploaded today), Radioshack, Starbucks, 2nd Subway, Applebee's, Pita Pit, 3rd Subway, and lastly, another former Applebee's in Tualatin, OR. I'm also planning on filming an abandoned old school Denny's in Albany, OR. A restaurant took over their old spot in 2005 right after Denny's moved out and closed its door in 2019. That's a huge content I have so far.

I use to live on the street behind this gas station on Lapey. Defently not the best neighborhood. Someone actually got stabbed in the neck in that station. Shortly after it closed. It was a privately owned citgo. A house blew up behind it one block over. I use to walk there to buy beer and was solicited by hookers. I thought it was funny my wife hated it. Please do the k mart down the street. Love your videos.

AT 2:23 that red trimmed tax service building across the street... looks sort of like the old donut shop where my HS girlfriend worked summer 1968 ?? I'd be curious is my memory is that good. lol

If I remember correctly, I believe that was the gas station that cought fire and was recently renovated then closed for whatever reason.
