Women want protection and security, and money is a form of both protection and security because it can provide resources for survival and needs satisfaction, but you have to actually provide these resources and satisfy their needs, if their needs are covered by another guy with less money, guess what? They will go with the other guy with less money because he satisfies their needs

Money works best when it conveys a skill or competency. For example, if a guy is talking to a girl, and his friend subtly conveys that the guy is one of the best brain surgeons in the country, the woman starts to be attracted to the competency rather than a dollar amount.

My dad is a househusband who is jobless and my mom is the provider, and I've also seen countless guys who earn a lot less than women but have good, solid long-term relationships. Meanwhile dating coaches' clients are mostly above-average looking dudes who earn a lot pf money. I guess my psychology instructor was right when he said men are primarily attracted to appearance while women are primarily attracted to behavior, money just sustains relationships, but it has nothing to do with those butterflies in her stomach.
