this is double dutch to a layperson. I have had my own domain for a couple of decades and used it for my primary email address. Since April this year I cannot send emails (from 123reg) to gmail and other similar generic accounts due to 'SPF and DKIM'.
This vid assumes understanding of tech terminology, and in this day and age is inexcusably poor communication because it does not state clearly the proficiency level needed, and thus defaults to needing to be fool proof . Assume lowest common denominator, and yep, assume I'm that fool, despite a stratospheric IQ and 30 years of DIY IT experience building my own PCs since the 1990s, all proving useless in this instance.
