Ganesha is a VERY potent guardian which I do expect to get mildly nerfed, or changed to better fit Hi-Rez's agenda for Ganesha. I think Ganesha is very comparable to Fafnir at his peak. Be warned, Ganesha is genuinely scary.

ganesha is my saving grace in smite. I always get so upset when I do bad in a game and my teammates steal all my kills. now there's no reason for me to get mad cause they get it anyways. I have had so much more fun in smite thanks to playing ganesha

Some things Duke don't say but i think is good, The ultimate is good for objectives as the camp boss will stay on the line for the entire time, The ultimate is not a really good initiator for team fights, Is better if you hold to pick enemies running away or to protect you team, Throw the ultimate in a way that the enemie take instant dmg than goes for the middle of the ult, So that way you have 2 ticks of the dmg, DON'T throw the ultimate with the enemy in the middle, Is not worth

I'm gonna laugh if the next patch comes around and has zero Ganesha nerfs in it, because it turns out he doesn't get played enough.

I'm telling you, the "can't get kills" thing is gonna hold so many people back from actually playing him and he's gonna end up super strong because of it.

@DukeSloth 6:38 Just to put out there, you can run through an enemy Ganesha's walls without taking te debuffs OR the damage.

I played a match yesterday where I just built ganeshas health to over 4000 and I just walked in and tanked the damage from tower, Phoenix and Titan while my teammates did all the damage. We won so easily.

One last thing for everyone, if you can anticipate whether an opponent is willing to run through your barrier, you can lay your ult and just as they cross it, dash and hold them in place ON the barrier. Even as a support, you won't believe the amount of damage this can do if you keep people on it. Better still, the slow is refreshed UNTIL they exit, so you won't be missing out on any debuffs. Fun fact.

I was a little confused when I didn't see Lono's Mask in the new patch. Did they forget to put it in or something?

What is your opinion of going Watchers>Lono's Mask>Boots>Vanguard start, it's basically a 4 item start until you start building other items
