Hey man,
I stumbled upon this video because I did not know how to approach the change in time signature on my piano sheet music. I would like to tell you this is one of the best lecture formats I have seen on YouTube, and you are an amazing teacher. The lesson is segmented and laid out in clear, easy-to-digest bits, you are straight to the point, very energetic, and you provide examples as you go.

I do not usually comment or give feedback on videos, but the production quality of your video is very impressive. Thank you so much man. Keep making YouTube vids! Subscribed

I always enjoy the way you dig the music at the end with all the body movement. This is a great tutorial too. Thank you so much.

A cool effect I like to use is changing between 6/4 using quarter notes and 4/4 using triplets. This way you can change the speed of a melody or rhythm keeping the same amount of notes and the same bpm

great lesson! I understood this concept in 3/4 and changing to a compound time signature of 6/8. If I had a song in 4/4 what compound time signatures would I be able to use to slow down/speed up my track?

The problem is with me, my bpm is 216, while I was making the melody I didn't realise and now it's extremely hard to keep it's original speed but I have to change the bpm of 132 (what it was supposed to be)

I know this isn't directly theory related: but could you do a demo video of what VST instruments you are using for Keys/Bass/Drums and how you got them in Reaper? BTW I also use Reaper =)

I noticed that some intro's to rock song often start out with a chord progression on guitar that is on a different tempo before the drums come in. Or Is this just me having bad rhythm?
Some examples:
Deftones-change (house of flies) starts out slower and then speeds up
Chris Cornell - nothing compares to you (Prince cover) starts out faster and then slows down

But how do I slow down just the drums (trap part) without slowing the piano cos the piano is perfect speed, but the trap is too fast? I just need to use a beat as a 'prop' to rap my poem to a beat. I'm not claiming the beat as my own. I just need the beat and very quick and I got no idea what I'm doing. And it's live, not recorded or anything, so no copyright infringement issues.

Your videos and ebooks are REALLY helpful. Thank you so much for your effort!
On another note, could you guys make a video on various ways to produce tension while building up to a chorus?
Thanks again!
