Farmers grow grapes that taste like cotton candy

We're all familiar with fruit-flavored candy, but what about candy-flavored fruit? Two California farmers are enjoying the sweet success of growing grapes with unexpected tastes. One variety even mimics the flavor of cotton candy. Carter Evans visited their farm to see how they do it, and what other treats they have on the vine.

It’s March and I’m eating cotton candy grapes. They are AMAZING !

I know some people were saying they get an "aftertaste" of cotton candy, but we were lucky enough to get two packs that tasted like candy all the way through, not just as an aftertaste. They're very sweet, but not cloyingly so. They're really delicious.

I was at whole foods. There was a lady with a cart that just wrapped up giving out samples for the day.we crossed paths She said do you want some cotton candy grapes? I said what are cotton candy grapes? She said they are grapes that taste like cotton candy. I looked get straight in the eye and said don't mess with me are you for real? She said here let me give you some. I tried them and they taste just like cotton candy I felt like I was on a hidden camera show. I said am I on a hidden camera tv show? She said no. I asked if I could have some more she said you are gonna have to buy a bag. I didn't buy a bag but I should have. My brain was still trying to process what just happened.all I can say is it was very surreal!

I'm really glad to hear that their grapes are NOT G.M.O.!! The folks at Grapery are doing an excellent job of doing things the RIGHT WAY by CROSS-POLLINATING different species of plants to achieve the desired flavors. ALL our food should always be 100% ORGANIC, NON-G.M.O., and raised WITHOUT chemicals, steroids (growth hormones), artificial (synthetic or man-made) compounds, etc. I've had some of Grapery's Cotton Candy and Moon Drop grapes before; they have way MORE flavor than ordinary grapes and are very UNIQUE in taste!! Grapery Gum Drop grapes are OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Their flavor is TOTALLY AMAZING!!

My boss and I tried these cotton candy grapes for the first time last year and both of our eyes just got super wide with that first bite. It kinda gets tamer with subsequent bites but OOF they’re SO GOOD ANYWAY
