hi, what is the gateway on PC2, are you setting 2 default gateways on PC2 so that it takes R2 as gw when R1 is shut??

How active router communicate to the other subnet, it sends the packet to the virtual router and then it sends it back to the active router?

Thank you. What about sub interfaces. Shouldn't those still have the same standby ip address? Or should they all be different

Hello and thanks for this tutorial. But what is the software are you using to simulate ? I am using gns3, I like it, but yours in this video look more speed !
