So in the original expression, we have 70e^[ln(2) * -t/5], why cant we bring down this ln(2) to make it 140e^[-t/5], which would make differentiating much simpler?

may i ask why when you differentiate e^-(1/5ln2) it doesn't just go to 0 because it is a number, instead of differentiating to -k?
