Psiloritis Ski - South Side | Ski in Crete (2024)

Second attempt to reach the peak of Psiloritis, this time ascendin from te soutwest side of thhe mountain, begging from the village of Fourfouras.
The view to the south is magnificent, as one can see the golf of Messara, Komos, Tybaki and South Rethhymno with thhe beautiful Kedros Mountain.
We reached as high as almost 2100 meters but couldn''t reach the summit as weather conditions and a time shortage prevented us from continuing into the last kilometers of the climb.
The slide down was memorable due to an incredible sunset!
