Definitely one of the darker Disney animated villains when you really unpack it. Instead of just shooting Cody, he really wanted to watch him be eaten alive.

I really appreciate how even though Jake clearly had eyes for Bianca, he never showed a trace of jealousy when Bernard beat him to it. No petty rivalry, no overplayed love triangle, no "but he's the other guy" garbage.

Sadly, I doubt Disney will ever try that again.

Joanna’s little wave always gets a chuckle out of me

The waterfall death incident almost happened to a friend of mine, except it was actually the rapids. His name was Ryder, this was about 2 years ago. The other pals Rick and Tristan were with me, we got too close to the rapids and Ryder almost died. I had to save his life and also had to find the closest surface which was the grassy ground above the water. All of us survived, the movie reminds me of it. I watched this years before the near-death experience.

I like that he didn't realize why the crocodiles retreated until it was too late.

Rest in Peace Eva Gabor and George C. Scott (the voices of Miss Bianca and Percival C. McLeach)😔🙏🏻

Correction, no one messes with Percival C. Mcleach besides a giant waterfall.

2:30 i think Joanna waved right as McLeach crossed the point where it was too late to get out. Like "nope too late, you're done-zo"

This movie was supposed to end with Cody freeing the captive animals from Mr. McLeach's lair now that he passed on.

Originally, mcleah was suppose to be eaten by the alligators but the death would of been too violent. So they decided that he dies by falling down the water fall.

If memory serves, I believe that Bernard is the very first Disney animated character to actually propose to his love interest.

That pump sound is extremely satysfying to hear

I hear that sound in Back to the future III of Doc's Yellowboy rifle

Cody's final words in the film are, "C'mon, Marahute, let's go home!" Hopefully, they rescue the animals from McLeach's hideout at some point.

2:21 the gators moving is so ominous when you think about it. Mcleach thinks he scared them away but they were actually escaping the waterfall

I have gotta say this. I personally believe that McLeach is my FAVORITE Disney Villain! I love how absolutely batshit crazy he is, and also how hilarious him and Joanna are. George C. Scott really nailed it. I just wish this movie wasn’t so overlooked. And for crying out loud it came out during the Disney Renaissance!

I loved this movie growing up. But now as an adult, all I can say here is, "Cody wouldn't be this happy after his near death experience. He's gonna need some serious therapy."
