I had one of those brand new when I was 12 years old. My first motorcycle. I delivered news papers everyday to buy it. Was a fast fun bike.

I had the 125. It was incredible. The most fun I have ever had. I had the 78. I loved it so much. The best thing a 14 year old could ever have.

Had the same bike brand new in 78 . Awesome!!!! My racing friend had the 78 YZ 80 . The RM 80 smoked the YZ and the CR and KX of those years.

When me and my brother were young. My dad bought us a 1979 Suzuki two stroke 50. I liked it.

I had one and rode the wheels off of it and won a lot of motos. I helped uncrate and predeliver it. I used to live down at the Suzuki shop when I was a 13 year old. My parents didn't care. Box stock it was a rocket.

I dreamed about this bike when I was a 13/14 year old kid in the late 70s/early 80s. Suzuki RM80. Yamaha YZ80, and Honda XR/CR 80s were the bikes we used to rip around the neighborhood on back in the day. Lots of memories on these bikes. Just so damn fast. What a hoot.

If yall ever come across a 1996 kx 80 that you restore to new condition or shows up that way please do not skip making that video, had one as a kid and that thing was unbelievably fast for such a small bike and it survived from bought new in 96 all the way to 06 getting the snot beat outa it sold it still running flawlessly…my 02 yz 125 on the other hand in the same time frame ive killed 5 or 6 tops ends 🤦🏻‍♂️ now im onto big bore bikes And dont ride stuff into the ground anymore with my health issues so they all last forever now…Love the videos ken keep up the amazing work and have a blessed new year!

I had a 78 RM80 traded in my XR75 to get it with some paper route money. Used it to deliver papers after school in Temperence, Michigan, once in a while. There are only 2 positions on the throttle on and off, haha. It was nice n loud and very quick. At least I thought back then until I got the RM125 soon after. Think I was in 7th or 8th grade at the time. When I wasn't riding, I was working on it or staring at it. I loved that 80 more than anything. Haha, you guys know what I mean. Love your channel. The best channel on YT! I'M gonna find an RM250 as soon as I can figure out the logistics on where to ride it living in California. I don't think the fun police will even let us have those anymore. I'm not really sure, I've been riding street bikes forever. We'll see?

I LOVE the underdogs. I had my 79 RM 80, I ride a 2022 Indian Pursuit, and drive a Ram.

Please come by a '79 JR 50, mint. 2 friends and I bought one in '82 for $35. Non runner. 1 friends dad got her and then it all went South. I put up the cash, never received their shares, fought over the riding schedule. Traded it to another friend for a KISS 8 track, a velcro wallet and a pair of Lightning Bolt shorts. I was not a bright kid. Love your channel. Love every one of your bike scores.

Yep raced one of these in the 70's crazy powerband, and built in tank slaps, also no brakes

I bought my 78 Rm 80 in 1981, bored it first over with a wiseco, and put barnett clutches .
Love the power band and sound with that small baffel
