Dont get me wrong, singing with backtrack is 100% fine, especially in a dance heavy performance, but it must not be louder than your mic volume. The backtrack is drowing her in the moments where her voice shines the most.

Backtrack and Lip Sync are two different things. This is an example of too much back track, as you can barely hear her natural voice, but you can still hear her.
