I’m 75. I usually play guitar, but I recently subscribed for a percussion ensemble course in a music school nearby where I live. We are about ten people of different ages meeting one day/week, having a lot of fun.
The school provides us with every percussion instruments we need, but I also bought a pair of bongos for home practice.

I was 64 when I got my bongos. They are so heavy! I'm on the lookout for a stand. I just got a djembe last week and it has a great sound!
