It's a perfect cost-effective ship to patrol the islands and the WPS. It is well-armed enough to deter the militia and the illegal dumping of corals. It can patrol with the Coast Guard and escort the re-supply mission. If we can have ten, it can compliment the Gregorio del Pilar and the Miguel Malvar ships, as it is well-armed for its small size.

Lets get this corvettes atleast 6 to 8 units and half of those should be made locally so we can get the knowledge and experience and soon we xan make our own and we can also export it will create more jobs.

The problem with the Sa'ar 80 is its not really suited for ASW, unlike the incoming Miguel Malvar Class its suited to counter Chinese subs, even with the incoming corvettes the Philippine Navy is still be considered a brown water navy, they gonna need at least 12 of the Malvar Class and for a corvette its really well armed.Not until the Philippine Navy get their frigate upgrade from the Bongo Gago Frigate, that has a 24VLS and rolling Seaframe would it be considered a blue water navy.I hope they go for the Damen Sigma Class an AAW/ASW frigate the F12516.
