There are actually also some open source office apps for android.
So that's actually a super nice combination as well to use it as a little office pc.

I'm looking at getting some SBCs to give to my school's gaming club, since I graduate next month and I'm taking my consoles with me. Which SBC is cheap (Around $20-40) but has enough power to run emulators. Preferred if it could run anything up to the N64 era.

Google Play isn't too hard to install, you just have to install 3 seperate apk files to get it up and running

Usually on installing a custom ROM (from XDA or another site) you would be installing GAPPS if it didn't come along with the custom ROM.

There's gotta be a way to install GAPPS on this.

No google services is a blessing and a curse. I understand if no Play store is a deal breaker for some, but I like starting an Android image without it and having the option to add it later. I try to minimize my reliance on the google apps when I use Android on an Odroid or something that isn't my phone. Getting along without the Play store isn't so hard in my opinion. I like F-Droid and APKMirror. And it's been a while, but the Yalp app on F-Droid can download APKs from the Play store if that's still available, and there are other places that do the same thing.

As for Bliss, interesting customizations. I'll have to keep up with its development. Good to see it.

Life without Google play services bogging down your device isn't bad at all. You can always download apks thru apk mirror or 3rd party apps that let you download apk's directly from the playstore without an account.

question is it supporting sound from hdmi from pc to TV?? i have install android-x86_64-8.1-r2.iso but there is no sound!
