It's definitely not impossible. Song 2 has been played live so many times and you can see Dave playing the whole thing.

All you'd have to do is omit the rim click on the snare hits to make it near indistinguishable from the original and 100% possible.
Let alone using any number of extended techniques (pedal hi hat, double hits, even double sticks) as others have pointed out to make it possible 1:1 with a single drummer.

The story that it was a nirvana parody is wrong and needs to be stopped already. Graham the guitarist has said that the band usually jammed heavier songs at band practice as a way to have fun and play the style of music they liked when they were teens but this time the song properly clicked and they liked it. It was never meant to be a parody or piss take on grunge. Google it. Graham himself said it on the old blur forums.
