Which is more likely, that Joseph somehow remained unaffected negatively by all the dysfunction in his family, or that he was as messed up as his siblings but in a way that is less visible or not mentioned?

According to the Quran, Joseph did not share his dream with his brothers; instead, he confided in his father, Jacob. Jacob, recognizing the potential danger, wisely advised Joseph not to reveal the dream to his brothers. Joseph was not committing any sin, and his father's guidance was a testament to his wisdom in protecting his son.

When God speaks to you and you repeat to someone you are ignorant of what your saying not do you comprehen what you are about to say or understand by you saying it out loud the event that are about to take place. The holy spirit spoke through Joseph he was being used as a vessel to get God will accomplished unbeknownst to Joseph he was part of God plan amen
