Its horrible because my buddy Hammett got hit in the chest for me it was like slow motion movie scene. I am trying to process and react to help but initially any combat veteran will have a "spacing out". Mine was like reacting with a concussion. I don't know how many seconds passed exactly but it felt like an eternity to react and put pressure on the wound and get to work while the engagement is still in progress. I get it. My buddy died from his wounds that day.
