'What the heck was that?': earthquake hits New Jersey

A 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit the New York City metropolitan area, centering on New Jersey, on Friday, causing a tremor which was felt along the US east coast. The US president, Joe Biden, said he spoke to the governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy, who said the earthquake had not caused significant concern

I experienced this earthquake and I live really close to where this was really strong and I had my 8 year old cousin with me and it was horrifying. I also experienced the after shock. My family and I are ok.

Earthquake and a solar eclipse. I wonder if the relation of the planets is slightly out of balance like was back with the 2004 Tsunami in Asia. From the Earth perspective most of the planets were grouped together on one side.

The weird thing is that I was probably an hour from the epicenter, and a bunch of people and I didn't feel anything

I was 5 miles from the epicenter and I must say.. thattt was intense.. Felt like my apartment was going to explode.. like a bomb going off.
