Oxybutynin (Ditropan), a drug approved for the treatment of overactive bladder, provides a new option for managing hot flashes in women who can’t use estrogen because of a history of or concern about breast cancer, suggests a phase 3 double-blind randomized controlled trial reported in a session and press conference at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.

I have been in horrible pain due to my I.C. . Initially my doctor prescribed me a high milligram dosage, I wasn't in pain but the side effects were unbearable. He then lowered my dose to 5 mg. And i am pain free and minimal, if any side affects. A plus to this medication also is hot flashes are pretty much gone.

Was on myrbetriq but insurance adjustments caused me to have to pay 419.00 a month for 30 pills . Who the heck can afford that ? So I've been on oxybutynin for 1 week now. Worse side effect is nausea and it has triggered my migraines that I haven't had in years. I hope the side effects pass . The price for oxybutynin is only a little over 2.00 .
