How is it, that we reside in the same state, yet there’s a $2.00 difference in the price? The meatball platter down here in SoCal is $11.99. Thank you both for your honest review of the entire menu. I used to work in nutrition. I think they definitely do prepare the potatoes differently on the vegan (plant balls) dish since mashed potatoes usually contain butter or cream. Even if they use margarine, not all brands of margarine are vegan (might contain a little bit of milk or whey). I wouldn’t be surprised if the mashed potato is straight potato and nothing else lol. Also, the gravy would also have to be plant based as well, which is probably why everything tasted better with the meat based gravy.

I worked at Ikea throughout college and they had the best deal for staff. It was like $3 for one main with a few sides, dessert and a drink. They kept me fed for cheap for years. I miss them!

I actually really like the plant balls and the daim cake is 💯 for me, although I typically just buy from the grocery section and eat them at home. I wonder if the difference in the mashed potatoes was dairy being added to the ones on the meat plate, since presumably the plant ball plate was all vegan friendly.
