Both mattresses are available at Mattress Firm stores... where I take all my naps. I'm not a big fan of the original Purple mattress but the Purple Hybrid Premier is amazing. The weightless comfort of Purple is exactly what I need to end my tossing and turning; and the TempurPedic...felt like a rock. I know it's probably because the store was air conditioned, but that thing was awful. I'm definitely a Purple Girl 💜

Thanks for the review. I'd likely go with purple this round but I'm more inclined to get a hybrid version. Cooler sleep combined with durability, more support and longevity. A mattress is a sleep and recuperation mechanism and investment. I think modern materials should last longer then past bedding components and come with minimally 25 year warranties

As a side sleeper, I’d have to go with the Tempur Cloud. I’ve had a lot of trouble finding a bed that is soft enough to not trigger hip pain. It’s been frustrating as I have 3 fairly new mattresses and I have pain with all of them.

Tried both and I am returning the Purple. Tempurpedic is better. Tempurpedic has Breeze model which has the cooling feature.

I think the Tempur-Pedic would be good for children and teens who are lightweight, and who's parents who can afford to spend that much on a mattress. The Purple mattress sounds heavenly to help with hot sleeping. But I need a hybrid that's very firm.

Slow moving foam for me. Not sure if I would like the Purple feel with the hyper elastic gel polymer. Do not like the latex type bouncy feel. Thanks 😊
