Have you or someone you know tried to get one of these medications? What happened?

I've been on both Ozempic and Mounjaro. I've lost 40 lbs. so far. What I like about them is it switches off the "food noise" in your head. I'm not sitting at my desk in the afternoon dreaming about what I'm going to eat for dinner. And once I DO eat, I'm not tempted to go whole hog. Portion control was always my issue. The drug solves that.

0:42 factual correction: “all of them come packaged in injectable pens with adjustable dosing” - not true. Only Ozempic has adjustable dosing. Wegovy and Mounjaro pens have set doses that cannot be adjusted.

My problem is that I don't eat because I'm hungry. I eat because donuts are really fucking good.

My tip for weight loss: Drink 7+L of water per day and cut your regular dinner in half and eat the second half before you go to sleep. You feel full all day, you don't wake up with hunger pains so you don't need breakfast or lunch. No diet adjustment is required other than cutting out sugar (use artificial) and takeout (it's full of fat) obviously.

You essentially cut your calorie intake in half without feeling starved and much more if you eat sweets or snacks.
Plus after the diet, you've gotten into the habit of reaching for a full bottle of water before you eat something you shouldn't. You pee a lot more, but it's good you get up from the desk every hour and a bit anyway.

More than 80% of people that aim to lose weight will lose a substantial amount during their lives. Keeping the weight off is the main problem people face. Most people regain and increase that weight within 5 years
