I used to not care and just butt connect everything at work, but now I use that thing a lot cause I don’t have to worry about plugging in a cord anymore. Awesome tool!

I love mine. Probably the best and most used Milwaukee tool I own. Mine is solid. Odd that yours was messed up. I just used the eRepair service for my rotary tool (again lol) and a friends 3/8" drive brushed ratchet.

He Coupe I really appreciate you making this review. I have wanted to soldering iron for over a year and there's not a whole lot of reviews about this iron especially ones like this where it's an actual review that happens after having some time with the tool. I believe that you covered everything that I had questions about as well as some things that I should have had questions about but didn't realize that I did until you answered them like warranty process for Milwaukee I've never had to use it before however currently I'm going to have to use it because I have bad 4.0 and 9.0 M18 batteries. So even though the videos not about M18 tools were there batteries or Milwaukee's work-in-process that question got answered for me anyway I also like the fact that I know in advance that I may encounter a problem with the sleeve feeling on me and the tip of becoming loose. Also I was always wondering what it was going to be like changing to a tool that was so much bulkier than what I have used in the past I have all sorts of soldering irons but not any like that I have a little rechargeable soldering iron it doesn't work work nothing I have the cold heat or whatever it's called is not worth nothing. I have several pencil Style irons with different wattage ratings and tip sizes and my main go to it's always my Weller pistol grip gun because it heats up instantaneously, as well as cools off almost as fast. it has work light that comes on with the trigger pull and it's a two-step trigger for and low heat output. And I would have to say that my number two Go to Ironwood be one of my butane irons .probably it would be my BernzOmatic pencil Style iron. But like you said it was a little time at first trying to discover your method of holding this m12 iron but you quickly adjusted and I believe I will too. I love the fact that you said that not only would you buy it again but that you would buy another one.👍

Thanks for the longterm review! Did you ever use a higher Ampere battery pack on this iron? I read that anything over 2A may cause the solder iron to overheat. The product website is flooded with user feedback about this exact same.

All milwaukee tools have a 5 yrs warranty take it back to home depot to give them a call, they'll replace it or repair it. 100% free

GT coupe how are you doing bro I looked at that told so many times and didn't know anything about it senior review Peaks my interest more cuz I thought about buying a plug-in soldering iron then maybe skip it and get one of these now I don't need one right away but since I already have some M12 you never know where you going to be when you need to solder something all right you take care of your kids and your wife and your friends will catch you on the next one
