In Dirt 2.0 can force feedback be adjusted in options? In a comparison video of Dirt 2.0 and EA WRC the guy said the feedback was a bit over the top with controller and wheel in Dirt 2.0 and I agree. With a Xbox controller it's way overdone.

Def dont let it get to your mind about dd vs belt. You gotta account for the game. Many games like gt7 were designed for belt wheels. Now the brands that were sponsored by the game will have the edge even with dd wheels in gt7. So you will enjiy just as much with the g pro or thrustmaster dd. But again dd wheels sometimes wont feel as good as belt wheels in games that were designed more around belt wheels and msny sims were. The reason why dd is better on pc is because of the games or sims we play on there. Things like acc, iracing and others will feel good with dd but then sgain even iracing csn feel good with s belt sometimes better then dd and sometimes not. Dd is the future though and upcoming games will be more programed for them. So dont let it mess with your head what you feel is correct. Gt7 is a belt driven game but then you have these dd wheels from logitech and thrustmaster that end up having tech that then helps it in gamss like this. So thats why not all things are made the same.

I choose dd all say because i use a simagic ultimate and i use it at 70% of its capabilities so im getting insane details and insane snap, suspension feel and edge of grip but i purely sim race on pc. If i was on console i would be so happy with a strong belt. Ive always said what you are here there is something really good about how belt wheels feel in games like gt7 and even f1 etc.

Its for sure amazing. I tell everyone if you are gonna play gt7 that all you need is a good belt driven wheel and thrustmaster tgt is about perfection for it.

Its what I woupd get on a console. Or a logitech pro since the price is so similiar. That is amazing.

You loved the g923 so I cannot wait for you to try the g pro its legit insanity how good it feels on consoles gt7.

Some games are just not made for gt7 these two brands are both brands that have been sponsored by gt. Logitech and the thrustmaster. So they will be the masters of gt7.

Brands like simucube, simagic and asetek are made for pc. Anybody buying for console gaming should be sticking with console style wheels or they will miss out on things in games like gt7. Unless you get the dd+ from fanatec that thing is one of the best wheels even if fanatec has been getting hate lately.

But ive been telling everyone if you get a 5nm dd wheelbase the 5nm+ belt driven wheels can feel as good if not stronger because the belt design. Dd wheels were designed to be pushed. The motors need to be pushed a bit. Because these 5nm motors and even 8 are still dialed back with software and not fully unlocked and whenever you drowned down any motor it will never be able to give you the peak feelings it should.

This is why I say if you are doing 10nm or up get dd if you are buying 8nm or less enjoy a belt.

Now I'm not saying you can't buy a 15 or 20nm wheelbade and use it at 10 because you can its still going to win but that's because the motor is still going to have all of that dynamic range.
