Caught on camera: Leopard enters home to hunt pet dog

This was the moment a leopard entered a home to hunt a pet dog. The dog fled but the leopard quickly found its prey and sneaked out of the home, carrying it in its jaws. The incident occurred at Kothagiri in Tamil Nadu, India, on Sept. 15. Residents of the town have often complained that bears, leopards and wild boars from a nearby forest stray into their homes looking for food.

The leopard, just did what leopards have been doing for millions of years. The leopard is out hunting so it can survive. The leopard just sees a potential meal, it doesn't see someone's pet. The leopard looks at the dog, the same way it looks at a deer, rabbit, wild pig, monkey, etc, etc, etc.... it's just a prey item. Now if you live in areas where large predators are abundant, it's up to you to take the steps to protect yourself and your pets. Take out the emotions of it being a family pet...and it's just a scenario in nature, that has played out for hundreds of millions of years.

I can’t stop crying. 😭 BTW, there is another video if this same incident. It shows the first part where the dogs was cuddled up trying to sleep and the leopard was right by his head the entire tine. The dog had no idea. Then it struck and that poor dog had no chance. Heartless bastards! You don’t deserve to have a dog. You killed him!
