The ID engine is amazingly optimized too. The reboot in 2016 was true to the original in the early 1990s in that it could run on lower end hardware at really good frame rates. Pretty much the opposite of some game engines..

Okay this is actually really bad. I need to see your video about 5800h with a 3070 to see if there's a bottleneck. I used to play this game on my helios 300 2019 before it broke and i used to get 120-130fps average on the same settings without turbo mode!(i7 9750H/1660ti)

Eluktroboost is useless in current gen laptops CPUs which qare incapable of pushing even 1st gen RTX gpus to max performance...I got hopes for the Ryzen 5 series..but then we move up to 3000 series Gpus too..same problem all over again?

I dont get this bottleneck on ryzen processor is it because of the limited wattage or poor iPC? Because intel still performs better on gaming laptop tbh
