To me that sleeve is meant to be put into another travel case/bag selected for conditions. I’d rather have that light compact sleeve from the factory than something bulkier that interferes with the rest of my packing.

Started using dual/triple screens for my job and cannot go back. This will be great when moving to a different room or when traveling. I agree with your thoughts on touch screen as all of my devices including my laptop have touchscreen (using a device without one becomes and issues of remembering...lol) Thanks for the upload!

I bought one of these. I cannot say I use it a lot since I have. But I do carry it wherever I go and do not notice the slight increase in the weight of my backpack. I also spent some of my Dell rewards on the screen so got it cheaper than advertised. I agree there should be a harder case but I tend to put it in the same pocket of my backpack as the laptop. I would like a touch version if one came out. Having different sizes would also be good.

Why would you want to see a 4K version of this screen? That makes absolutely zero sense. 1080 p on a 14 inch is very sharp. It all boils down to PPI (pixels per inch, most important factor in determining sharpness and picture quality. A 27 inch monitor at 4K has a pixel density of 167 pixels per inch. That is incredibly sharp and some people consider that overkill. This monitor is 14 inches with a 1080 p display, meaning that it’s PPI is 157. That is a very high ppi for this resolution, making it almost impossible to see individual pixels, which is why you get a higher resolution monitor in the first place. A 4K 14 inch monitor has a ppi of 314. That is absolutely overkill to the point where you can barely tell the difference and it would probably cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars more. Also native 4K on a 27 inch monitor makes text so small to the point that it’s completely unusable, I can only imagine what that would look like on a 14 inch display. You would have to use scaling to make the display usable and you would most likely default back to 1080 p, completely defeating the purpose of having 4K to begin with.

Thank you for your video, do you know if three or four of these in extension mode (not mirror, but extension) could be connected to your laptop, may be through a USB hub?

Could it be used with an adapter for VGA port in the notebook?

Can two of these be used with a single laptop to make a 3 screen setup?

Does it have VESA mounting points on the bottom like the Lenovo Thinkvisions do?

I got this screen because I have a Dell account. I have a dell xps laptop that this works good with but thats it. Kinda sucks that I cant use this screen with a usb c to hdmi cable to hook up to my computer for a second monitor. So it sits in a drawer because I don't use that laptop like that.
