I loved this fixed wing mode on the fimi a3! Glad to see it is also available in the fimi mini. DJI is copying this mode to the mini 2, but still not as smooth and slow turning with full tilt.

Good vid, thinking about getting one for my grandson. One thing I'd like to point out is I have the X8 2020 se. The remotes look basically the same the mini is smaller. Here's the kicker, I would be gentle when you tighten the sticks down. The cup where the sticks screw into is slotted on the back of the cup for the potentiometer arm to lock into and are plastic. My right stick when I was setting it up just started flopping around loose. Fimi was a nightmare to work with. The seller I contacted must have known about this issue and sent a replacement cup. What happens is the bottom of the slot will crack an fall out allowing the arm to fall out. Another channel had the same thing happen. I did not crank down on the stick when I set mine up just snugged it when this happened. I bought a new remote also because the wait time and messing around with Fimi, I got the remote quicker. Taking the remote apart is not that hard to fix this.

You kind of rushed through some of the start up checks. Im having trouble with the one I just got (from Amazon) connecting to the controller and phone.
What is the order of operation for this, and where does that tiny switch on the back go? RC or wifi?
Do I have to connect to the drone from my phone to a wifi signal?
I thought this one connected to the drone through the controller?
What to do if the calibrations dont work?

Hi, im finalizing if to buy this drone, but saw on its advert that it has NON-FLY ZONE PROTECTION capability.. could you confirm if it is exactly like dji geofencing? If yes than i will not buy it :(

I had a typhoon drone about 6-7 years ago and had to turn it a bunch of different ways to calibrate it before I could fly it. Do you have to do that with this drone?

Also need to mention the Fimi X8 Mini does OFFLINE Waypoints, ala' Litchi which is still not available for DJI's Mini 2. I built a few to test and everything worked, except the height of the target (point of interest) thar you want. I may have missed it since there is very little documentation on offline waypoints. (meaning none). If I could see POI height it would absolutely kill it. I have 3 Fimi's & 3 DJI's and I kinda love them all for their unique talents. Like children 😆
