Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking the bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part.

Lots of talent in Canada, but it’s tough to raise capital to build a business in Canada. Government has not created a climate to do business, …senseless regulations, permits and high taxes. Innovation is flooding to the US

I just started adding BCE (big telecom in Canada) in my portfolio. It's $40B company in business for over 40 years, hitting 10yrs historical low. Can't find such undervalued company with dividend 8.7% now. Seems right with his investment philosophy too. No brainer

Curious if Warren is looking to buy a Canadian company for BH to operate, or if he's eyeing a big stake in a company such as Enbridge, BCE, or Scotiabank. In the case of a stake, the company's shares will jump 10 to 15 percent on the announcement. What an advantage as an investor, to instantly get that sort of cushion on an equity investment that probably would be in the billions!

What does this mean for Apple stocks? Is it advisable for somebody who wants to start investing in stocks for not so long term gains to start with it now?

The Canada investment will be completely irrelevant. In order to move the needle, you must investment at least 5% of capital. For Berkshire that would be about $45 billion. So more thumb sucking for 2024.

Currently I'm just being smart and frugal with my money, I'm in the green 47% over the last 23 months and l've accumulated over $70K in pure profits from DCA’ing into stocks, ETFs, dividends and futures. However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait.

Canada is pretty much the same as the U.S for business and culture purposes.
