Maybe you could try lightly sanding with fine grit and then stain it if it lightens it up.

Paint with new knobs, or sanding down and try putting a stain darker or blonde instead of golden. Can’t wait to see your new home.

I think I would be tempted to try the oven cleaner method on your new armoire…maybe a bit of wood bleaching. I love the look of the pine, so I personally would keep it a natural wood colour just make it a bit more rustic.

I am really liking the two tone coloring on furniture right now. The body one color the doors/drawers another color. Maybe restain the doors and paint the body of the wardrobe.

Pine furniture is hard to find and expensive when you do find it so i absolutely would not paint it.

I would sand it down then do a stain glaze over it in the color of your choice. Great finds!

Here's a suggestion for you, Sarah. Why not test spray the perfumes on the card that's enclosed with each one? Bath and Body Works provides little cards just for that purpose.
I think I'm in favor of painting the wardrobe either white or the same shade of green that you used on the dresser.
