Zabrena, those sparkly metallic eyeshadows that don't pick up well on a brush, often apply beautifully if you use one of those old-fashioned sponge tip applicators. It's often the same for matte eyeshadows that don't have a lot of color pay off when applied with a brush. Try a sponge tip applicator, you might be pleasantly surprised at the difference! I saw another youtuber give this tip a while ago, and tried it. Now I keep sponge tip applicators on hand for those sparkly foiled shadows that either don't pick up well with a brush or tend to start to get hard panned if you try using your finger to apply it. I follow the Wayne Goss method of concealer application, and it's worked a treat on every concealer I've used since.(I have dry skin)
He suggests using an extra layer of moisturiser under the eye. After allowing it to sink in, he applied an eyeshadow primer under the eye (I use the Milani primer). Then he applied the concealer. Boy oh boy, does it make a difference.👌

Pretty colors! As for the chunky shimmer shades I ALWAYS use Nyxs glitter glue for all shimmer, satin, glitter shades. It holds the shade beautifully and gives it that pop effect🥰

Every year that you tell us you’re going strawberry picking I know that spring is on its way that palette is gorgeous! Kind of a bummer you had some issues with it…HOWEVER you’ve always told us get something a couple of tries before you count it out.
