I know it’s not conducive to making a movie but the inside of that plane would be completely pitch black, which is even more terrifying. There’s real stories of people who survived water landings and nearly drowned because they couldn’t even tell which way was up when the plane was under water.

Sharks are such an overused movie trope involving being trapped under water. There are 69 (lol) reported unprovoked shark attacks a year. The chance that the 2 sharks your group happens to be trapped by are one of the very few to attack unprovoked is so miniscule that its unrealistic, like tens of millions to one.

I don’t understand why film makers never do some research for the movies they are making, they wanted oxygen at the start and searched for a random oxygen bag in the back of the plane when they litterally had all the oxygen masks around them which would have lasted them hours of breathing time combined
